Aetherbound is an experience layer for AI-generated and reconstructed 3D scenes. This page describes what we actually collect today, not a generic template — several sections below are marked as not-yet-applicable because the feature they'd cover isn't live yet.

What we collect right now

The core Aetherbound experience (the 3D engine you land in from the home screen) runs entirely in your browser. It stores exactly one thing locally, on your device only, never sent to us:

A "reduce motion" preference, in your browser's localStorage, so it doesn't reset every visit.

We don't run analytics, ad trackers, or third-party tracking scripts of any kind on this site. There is nothing here that profiles you across visits or sites.

Put Me Back In My Childhood (Experimental)

This feature is gated until October 10th. No photo upload is active yet, and nothing described below is happening today — this is what will be true once it opens.

When it opens: you give us one photo. We use it to reconstruct a 3D room. Your photo is deleted the moment the room is built — we don't retain it afterward, don't use it to train anything, and don't repurpose it for any other reason.

Put Me Inside a World — Ultra Realistic (Beta)

Also gated until October 10th. The code-only "Whimsical Worlds" route needs no photo or personal input and has nothing to disclose here beyond your typed prompt, which is sent only to generate that one world.

When AI-rendered worlds open: your text prompt is sent to the rendering pipeline to generate a world. We'll update this section with concrete retention details before that route goes live — we're not going to guess at a policy for a system that isn't built yet.

Accounts

Sign-in (where a feature requires it) is handled by Clerk, a third-party authentication provider. Clerk processes your email/sign-in credentials under its own privacy policy; we only receive a verified user identifier, never your password.

Payments

No payment processing is live on Aetherbound yet. No card or billing details are collected anywhere on this site today. This section will be replaced with real processor details (and that processor's own data-handling terms) before any paid feature ships.

Your rights

Since we don't retain photos or build a profile of you, there's little standing data to request or delete beyond your account record itself. If a feature ever changes that, this policy will be updated first — not after.
